TensileTurn CNC: rapid, smooth, and accurate round Tensile sample preparation

Preparing a round tensile sample can be challenging and requires specialized equipment that is primarily made to create correct samples that contribute to accurate results. The gauge lengths for such specimens must be four times the specimen’s diameter in accordance with ASTM guidelines for round tensile preparation for E8 materials (without powder metallurgy ingredients). The dimensions of the round tensile test specimen must be exact for forces to be directed in the proper directions and yield appropriate results.

The accurate system for performing circular, rectangular, or asymmetric tensile samples is the TensileTurn CNC. Due to its small size and automated lathe for accurate material shape, it excels at quickly preparing round tensile samples. Both our award-winning touchscreen user interface and our top-notch CNC software are available on the TensileTurn CNC.

Your tensile preparation is smooth and accurate for nearly any sort of material with the help of our contact display screen and integrated tensile milling interface. Depending on the needs of your sector, our collection of common standards includes ASTM, ISO, DIN, and other documents. The benefit of the sophisticated tensile and CNC software is that any new standards may be added to the library at any moment. You can select standard tensile specimen sizes from our library, enter bespoke sizes using the numerical keypad, or input new sizes at your discretion. With a few button presses, the TensileTurn CNC can accurately turn samples up to two inches in diameter and sixteen inches in length!

For experienced operators, our CNC software, Carbon, is a noteworthy tool. With the help of this software, users may operate the TensileTurn CNC for common tasks including cutting, sanding, knurling, drilling, facing, and turning. Each machine includes all software programme updates without charging an additional charge.

The TensileTurn CNC can quickly turn specimens with threaded, button-head, round, sub-size, and fatigue characteristics. Round tensile specimens no longer need to be prepared and sent from off-site facilities before being used in your laboratory. The TensileTurn CNC enables your staff to quickly create amazing tensile samples in your very own lab.
