Our Story

From a structural problem
to a single workflow

Infinita Lab was founded in 2019 around a structural observation: external testing in the United States was fragmented to the point of dysfunction. Engineers running a non-trivial test program — a polymer mechanical battery, a medical device submission package, a battery cell certification — were sourcing three to seven laboratories, managing three to seven contracts, and reconciling three to seven report formats. The coordination cost was invisible until something slipped.

Pradyumna Gupta, PhD — a materials scientist with firsthand experience at Corning developing Gorilla Glass — built Infinita Lab to absorb that coordination cost. A materials or test scientist on the Infinita Lab side scopes the program before the sample ships. One project manager owns the engagement end-to-end. The customer gets one contract, one schedule, and one set of defensible results.

Today, Infinita Lab serves 4,000+ happy clients — R&D engineers, QC managers, regulatory specialists, funded innovators, partner laboratories, and enterprise captive-lab overflow buyers across every materials-intensive industry — through the same single expert-guided workflow, whether the program is one method or seven.

Expert in optics, materials engineering, and physical sciences. Pradyumna holds a PhD in Materials Science with specialization in glasses and thin films for electronic and photonic applications. He founded Infinita Lab after seeing first-hand how fragmented and inaccessible materials testing was for engineers across industries — and built the orchestration layer to fix it.
