Truck Scale Overhauls

Overhauls for truck scale

A temporary fix for your scale requirements might be to have your truck scale overhauled. We are aware that purchasing a new truck scale is a long-term commitment and that there are times when it is not the best time to do so. As a solution, GR Metrology provides truck scale overhauls. A truck scale undergoes an overhaul when all of its mechanical pieces are changed out, thereby making the scale “fresh” from the ground up. On mechanical and electro-mechanical truck scales, an overhaul is typically performed because those parts are the ones that need to be replaced due to wear. Receiving an overhaul can extend the lifespan of your scale or serve as a temporary solution if you can’t afford to buy a new one.

Redesign Timeline

As was previously noted, overhauls are the replacement of parts on an old scale, which means that your scale will ultimately require replacement, just like the parts have. Depending on the state your scale is in right now, that will happen at a certain time. Contact us and we’ll send one of our scale specialists to look at your scale if you’re unsure of what the future holds for your scale. Our advice is to stay ahead of the curve because supply chains are still experiencing significant delays. Reach out if you have any concerns about the future of your scales.

Optional Rental Scales

If your truck scale is malfunctioning, you also have the choice of renting or purchasing a portable scale as an alternative to getting it overhauled. Both alternatives will enable you to carry on working without being hindered or put on pause as a result of being unable to weigh materials. GR Metrology can assist you if you require truck scale service because we offer mechanical truck scale overhauls. Call us right away.
