    Test Process

    Flame Extension Test

    Aerosol is sprayed horizontally toward an open flame; flame extension distance is measured.

    Flashback Test

    The spray is directed toward a flame and then the can is withdrawn; flashback to the nozzle is observed.

    Closed-Drum Test

    Aerosol is discharged into a sealed drum containing an ignition source to evaluate explosive potential.
