DRY & WET SIEVE ANALYSIS

Traditional sieve analysis is the standard method for powder and granule production and quality control in numerous industries, including food, pharmaceutics, and chemistry. Simple handling, minimal investment costs, accurate and repeatable results in a reasonably short amount of time, and the ability to separate the particle size fractions are all benefits of sieve analysis.
DRY SIEVE ANALYSIS: In order for the particles to find the openings in the wire mesh, these sieves must be shaken or vibrated while in operation. On their own, the particles can separate. Dry test sieves are used in the chemical, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.
WET SIEVE ANALYSIS: When silt or clay are added to the particles being sieved, they might clump together and block the openings. Although particles may appear to be solid and the right size, they are actually composed of smaller particles that have been clumped together. The aggregate industry’s preferred method of quality control is wet wash sieving.
