    Results:

    Chromium is determined by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer method. The sample is dissolved in mineral acids and the residue fused, dissolved, and solution combined. The sample solution is aspirated into a nitrous oxide-acetylene flame of an atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Spectral energy at approximately 3579 A° from a chromium hollow-cathode lamp is passed through the flame and the absorbance is measured. The spectrophotometer is calibrated with solutions of known chromium concentrations.
