Mass Calibration

global foundries amd

Weight, Comparator, Scale Calibration and more mass measurement instruments need to calibrate. The test weights obtained from the calibrated items are compared to predetermined measurement standards during mass calibration. The procedure will reveal whether the measurement precision is being upheld. Instruments can be adjusted to bring measurements into tolerance, or weights can be changed out as necessary.

Calibration of mass measurement devices

For the purposes of stabilizing standards and providing weight calibration services, Infinita lab operates a climate-controlled laboratory. Scales and balances may be calibrated in our lab or on-site at the place of business of our client.

To ensure that weights and equipment are stable before and during measurement, mass calibration is done in a lab with controlled humidity and temperature. The climate-controlled space is kept at 68°F (plus or minus 1°F) and 30–50% relative humidity. Our professionals can calibrate to 0.00001 of a gramme under these circumstances.

Weight calibration services are offered for a variety of classes, such as A, B, C, F, M, P, Q, S, S-1, T, 1, 1.1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, as specified in the NIST/NBS Handbook 105-1 & 44, NBS Circular 547, and ANSI/ASTM E617. On devices with weight capabilities of more than 1,000 lbs, highly dependable equipment is capable of completing balance calibration, scale calibration, and comparator calibration.

Our in-house lab and field technicians have received specialized training to complete calibrations quickly without sacrificing the accuracy of the results. They operate in accordance with our rigid internal policies and the specifications provided by customers with each purchase.

A2LA has granted ISO 17025 accreditation to mass calibration services. The results of calibration can be traced back to NIST.

H2:The Process Of Mass Calibration

In order to manage mass calibration of standards and instruments at different weights and accuracies, Infinita lab is furnished with a number of scales. A weight comparison between the scale readout and a known standard or mass value is required for calibration. The accuracy of the precision mass standards used for calibration is well recognised.
