Flexural Properties of Composites

Flexural properties testing is used to measure the ability of composite materials to withstand bending forces. Flexural Properties of Composites

Polymeric materials are used in a variety of applications, from medical devices to automotive parts. In order to determine their service or shelf life in different environments, these materials are subjected to accelerated aging tests. This testing allows for the selection of materials that can retain their qualities over time despite exposure to heat, pressure, or chemical attack. By elevating the test temperatures, it is possible to observe any physical or chemical changes that may occur due to oxidative and thermal aging.
