    Scope:

    The chemical resistance of various materials is determined by the ASTM C267 test method.     Procedure:

    ASTM C267 test method is designed to detect chemical resistance of a wide range of materials. It proceeds by measuring the diameter of the specimens, exposure, weighing, and visual inspection of the specimens. The specimens are cleaned and subjected to compression tests by relevant procedures as per their sizes.

    Specimen Size:

    Specimen size should be as per the requirements. Test Method A covers the systems containing aggregate less than 0.0625 in. (1.6mm) in size. Test Method B is used for systems containing aggregate from 0.0625 to 0.4 in. (1.6 to 1.0 mm) in size. Furthermore, Test Method C is for systems that contain aggregate larger than 0.4 in.
